Be One With The Community

At 7 Summits Snacks, we actively support grassroots sporting organizations and athletes to foster growth within the endurance sport community. We provide our functional chocolate to races, clubs & provincial organizations where proceeds of our sales have gone back into athlete development programs.

Sponsored Athletes

Amanda Rummery / Edmonton, AB

Amanda Rummery is an elite Para Track and Field athlete from Edmonton, Alberta.

“After paralyzing my left arm in an ATV accident in July of 2015, I found para Track and Field. In August of 2018 I amputated my paralyzed arm and I now compete with my ‘nub’.”

The year following her amputation surgery Amanda broke the Canadian record in the 100 m, 200 m, and 400 metre running events. Her biggest accomplishment thus far in her track career was making Team Canada for the 2019 WPA World Para Championships in Dubai.

She reached her personal 2021 goal of running 59.95 seconds in the 400 metres and is now training full time in hopes of making her dream a reality and competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Moving forward, Amanda hopes to raise awareness around para-sport and help others with a disability to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Her favorite 7 Summits Snacks product is the Denali Endurance Bar: “You can never go wrong with milk chocolate!”

Jenaya Francis / Cyclocross & Mountain Biking

Jenaya Francis is in her last year of high school, and after joining the Juventus Juniors, Jenaya was shortly introduced to the craziness that is cyclocross. “I’ve been hooked on the sport since I won my first holeshot back in 2019”.

Although being new into the sport, she’s already competed in the Pan-American Cyclocross Championships and at the World Championships in the start of 2022.. She hopes to continue making advancements in this sport so when she’s older she can say that her career included world cup wins in cyclocross and mountain biking!

This year she’s looking forward to fuelling her Canada Cup Mountain Bike Cross Country series with our Everest Endurance Bars (her fave!) and has her eyes set on Nationals and Canada Summer Games across Mountain Bike and Road Cycling disciplines

Paige Boklaschuk / Team Athlete

Paige Boklaskchuk is a competitive climber based in Calgary and North Vancouver. Her main focus is competing in bouldering and sport climbing. She has had the opportunity to represent Team Canada at multiple international events as a 6 year member of the Canadian Youth Team and as an ongoing 4 year member of the Senior National Team.  Her main goals this year are to compete in Bouldering World Cups in Europe and Asia, and to spend half the year training and competing in Vancouver.

To Paige, climbing provides a unique physical and mental challenge that has kept her in the sport for all of those years.  She loves to give back to the climbing community through volunteer coaching youth teams and organizing webinar events with Canadian Women & Sport for climbing coaches to learn about coaching gender equity.

Her favorite 7 Summits Snacks product is the Everest Endurance bars… “they are quickly becoming a staple for long days in the gym!”
